A: on foot
A: Go on Ableton, turn up the speakers, and turn random cumbia tracks into club bangers.
A: My year living in Jerusalem. It was the worst experience of my life, which is why it was the best experience of my life. And I'm a different person now.
A: My cute yet sexy baby face.
A: Maybe this is just a part of being Colombian, but I can't stand artificial foods. Only fresh-squeezed juice — no artificial flavors, thanks — all day, every day. Not a vegetarian, but I really don't love meat (only men).
A: I know it's cliche, but I can guarantee you've never met anyone else like me. (shrug)
A: read books, write stories, study languages, research, deejay, make videos, fall in love
A: I have a very deep capacity for empathy, so much so that I have trouble prioritizing my own feelings over trying to make others happy. But I've gotten better at it, so now I might call it a great personal trait. It's what makes me a deeply passionate person, which is conveyed through everything I do.
A: avant-garde music journalism — no, really. i've actually published in that niche.
A: I travel tons. I haven't lived in the same place for more than a year for about five years now, although usually I do spend about 3/4 of the year in some new place — settle down a bit, absorb new experiences, then move on. I'm starting a graduate program that will have me living in a different city every year for three years, so there's no signs of stopping!
A: I've traveled a lot on account of my studies, hardly able to actually afford it. I'm always thinking about my family back in Colombia, and how I want to make them & my community proud. I'm trying to turn my passion for sex into a process of growth. So, you could say that what makes me who I am is my personal ambition, my resourcefulness and my motivation to keep going.
A: I've gone through an extensive spiritual journey, and my religion (Bahá'i) is very personal to me and important, but not in the ways that people usually think. It's something I can't explain in a paragraph, so feel free to ask me about it.
A: I would tell you about my dreams & aspirations; the importance of my family & friends in my life; the subjects that keep me up at night; and probably something nerdy about linguistics.
A: Everything in my life is meaningful & cathartic. Every experience I keep with me; every person I meet impacts me. Even sex; it's more than just fun. We can teach each other to see & feel things differently with our bodies.
A: Some guys say I live in my own world. It's kind of true, because I can spend hours just sitting around thinking about certain things that drive me; that's the energy I channel into my writing, and it's what keeps me from ever getting bored. In that way I truly do enjoy my own company.
A: a stack of books on my desk, my library of LPs, my loving family, a space to write & reflect, my best childhood friends
