RentMen:
If we sat on the beach and drank wine and ate great food just you and I, what would you tell me about yourself and your life?
roccobennett:
I'd probably start at the beginning — because my beginning is a bit unusual. I grew up across both country towns and inner cities, which means I learned early how to read completely different kinds of people and feel at home in both worlds. I'd tell you about my witch-themed fifth birthday party, which I stand by completely. I'd tell you about my first girlfriend in prep — yes, prep — which honestly set the tone for how seriously I take connection. And then somewhere in the middle of the second glass I'd get into how school shaped me, how my confidence evolved, how certain experiences and certain people cracked me open and put me back together differently. I didn't arrive here fully formed. I was built by the places I lived and the people who left marks on me. That's the honest version.
RentMen:
Tell us about the best experience you have had in life.
roccobennett:
Taking my partner at the time to Vietnam — his first time ever leaving the country. I'd been before but seeing it through his eyes made it completely new. Vietnam is still a little frozen in time in the best possible way, and watching him adjust to a completely different pace of life, a different culture, a different everything — seeing his eyes light up at every corner we turned — was genuinely one of the most moving things I've experienced. We just walked and ate and existed together. No agenda. That kind of magic is hard to manufacture and impossible to forget.
RentMen:
What are 5 things you can’t live without?
roccobennett:
A sharp knife and a good chopping board. A country I haven't cooked in yet. A conversation that goes somewhere unexpected. Someone worth cooking for. And honestly — a bed with good linen. Life is too short for bad sheets.
RentMen:
Tell us a little about yourself, if you were to pick something what would you like others to absolutely know about you?
roccobennett:
The chemistry my clients describe in their reviews — that ease, that naturalness, that feeling of being completely yourself — it's not something I manufacture. It's just what happens when someone is genuinely interested in you. I actually like people. That's the whole thing.
