bi_rugbyjock: My worth ethic. Growing up on a large farm left me with a great can do attitude. This translate to all aspects of my work. Let's get it done and let's have a laugh while we do.
RentMen: What distinguishes you from all the other people you know?
TheUglyOne: Be confident. When you truly believe you can create what you envision, when you're not afraid of the obstacles, that confidence will automatically make you stand out from the rest.
Practice listening. Learn to listen truly listen--to work toward a deep understanding and hear what's being said beyond the words. You will stand out in any situation if you become a person who listens from the heart.
Cultivate emotional intelligence. Too many otherwise smart people don't know how to manage their emotions or relate to others well. Emotional intelligence attracts people who are looking to connect with someone who has their act together and who's competent and capable.
Lead with excellence. Let people know that quality is a core value, that everything that you do you do with excellence. Leading with excellence prepares you to deliver high-quality work and makes you stand out as a professional.
Always be of service. Being useful, being helpful is an important aspect of making a great impression. Show up with a spirit of empathy and something to give. An attitude of service makes people interested in what you have to offer.
Be kind to everyone.
CuddleTime: Probably how I'm not afraid of change. I've seen talented friends let great opportunities pass them by because they were nervous about all of the factors in their lives that would change as a result. I know that growth isn't always going to be comfortable. Getting through a lot of that discomfort has actually groomed me for many of opportunities that have been presented to me.
RentMen: Tell us about the best experience you have had in life.
Chance_Bohne: I'm really grateful for growing up in a family that moved around to a new place every few years. Although I would rarely fit in anywhere, it taught me early on to think critically and to examine ideas that I didn't at first understand.
RentMen: What would you say are your greatest attributes?
Broganxbrogan: One of the things I always hear from people is how intimidating they thought I was before they met me, but how comfortable they are once they're actually with me. I'm not super proud of being intimidating because I definitely don't try to do that, but I love hearing that I can make people comfortable and help them relax and enjoy.
RentMen: What kind of diet and fitness regimen do you follow?
HuckDiCostia: I try and avoid processed foods as much as I can. Otherwise I don’t really worry about what I eat; my metabolism’s pretty fast so I never put on weight. A blessing for staying skinny, but a curse for building muscle. Tradeoffs I guess!
I lift weights 3 times a week, and I hit most of my muscles every workout. Otherwise I’m a generally active person; I walk and bike to get most places and sex is my cardio.
RentMen: What are your lifestyle specifics that makes who you are?
GeoffreySkott: It used to be simple, then things happened and now it’s different simple. What makes me who I am is the sum of all my experiences. From rocking a mullet as a kid to taking a bat to the forehead(12 stitches) to supporting my family when I needed to. The human experience is what makes me who I am. The experience is worth way more than the climax. At least I think so.
RentMen: What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
Dj_XXX: I don't have any specific hobby because there are so many but if I had to choose something to do in my spare time I've been working on my music. Music is something that is seen in almost every culture in almost every time period, it drives me from point A to point B... wether it's too the store or to your house, I've always got music to bring life to my soul.
I am a DJ of electronic dance music, I also like to produce it as well.
I also like to fill my time with:
Knitting, cooking/baking, guitar, dancing, decorating, driving, burning man, swimming/diving, piano, biking, hiking, camping.... Etc
I fill my time with creativity or The Great Outdoors... Not really much of a TV and video games kind of person... Unless I was to be creating the content myself 😎
