A: The beach is my favorite place on earth; secretly, I believe it’s everyone’s responsibility, at
least once a year, to cut sleep short, and venture to the coast before dawn. Then: simply
welcome that new day. It’s important work.
A: Passion. Dance. Creativity. Music. Desire. Travel. Ok, that’s 6. I was never good with limits. Or math.
A: That I found my groove when I embraced all my disparate parts. I am unrecognizable from 10 years ago – physically, I’ve blossomed. Mentally, I’ve found my groove. Emotionally, I’m in tune. Sexually, I’ve exploded. All those seemingly odd parts suddenly unified. I should say, when life upends, you do come out a different person.
A: Sometimes, it’s going to Broadway shows and other performances, concerts, and great food. Often, it’s the music and vibrant energy of the weekend that sustains me through the week; even if all I’ve done is dance until dawn.
A: I’ve been told: I always go “one sentence to far”. I always respond that’s where the funny is. The edge is the sharpest, most exciting place to be.
A: I dance. I listen to the beat of the music; feel it move me. Simply letting the rhythms pulse through, and, if it’s a particularly good night, moving in tandem with the partner at my side. My early dance training was in Modern dance, so if you see me out, you may not see me moving to the main base beat, but I am moving to a beat only I hear.
A: This is tough to answer, especially here. My greatest life experience wasn’t my best; it may have been my worst. But it was great in the sense it was overwhelmingly transformative, like a tsunami. When your life upends, you discover yourself. You find strength you didn’t know was in you, determination and resolve that you didn’t know you possessed, and you realize: something may bend you, even crack you. But that doesn’t mean it breaks you.
A: Well, it may be because I’m literally dancing on a box in a club’s spotlight. But that’s the obvious answer. What makes me stand out is unbridled enthusiasm. True, I’m a submissive top. But I’m also bold, direct, and (so I’ve been told) more than a handful (in more ways than one!) And both of which may leave you exhausted.
A: Obviously, it’s my very deep humility. Laughing. Perhaps not. I call it “instant intimacy “— the ability to connect authentically in a few brief minutes.
A: A submissive top? Isn’t that an oxymoron? Aren’t you a bottom, really, that just tops? Hard no. My niche is the person that realizes you can be more than one thing at the same time, who can be a submissive bottom and still take charge and give direction without feeling awkward or embarrassed. I love it when the guy I’m with realizes I’m getting intense pleasure because he is. My fulfillment depends on him.
A: I travel extensively for my day job (last year, for example, I spent 105 nights in a hotel for work travel.) When you travel that much, you appreciate two things: 1) sleeping in your own bed and 2) having a client greet you at the door exclaiming, “welcome to (insert city here)!” So you can suddenly remember where you actually ARE.
A: I work out four times a week. I eat as heathy as my travels allow, I drink occasionally (A Moscow mule nightly IS occasionally, right?!) I eat almost no processed food, and no fast food. I prefer cheese and fruit for dessert over cake and ice cream. Life and health are about balance and moderation. In diet, in fitness, OR in any other indulgence you might occasionally enjoy.
A: There are people who actually thought my name was “Complicated” because, for a while, that’s how I was listed in a friends contact list. But things have simplified. Now, everyone knows my name is “Logan”. EXCEPT for one outlier. He lists me as, “Who Broke You?!” There’s always one…
A: The balance between submission and service vs aggression and power took a while to understand and embrace. Now, I get those two sides aren’t in conflict. They fuel me: Muscle, power, submission and service.
A: I like interesting, unique, and stimulating people. Those who might be a little off beat, but bring something to the table that you don’t see daily. I want to know what excites them. When I’m with someone, the world narrows down to the two of us, to that moment. It’s a gift that I get to share and experience these moments. I’ve found my groove. (Oh! UNLESS what they bring is stupid ignorance. Then I have a tough time.)
A: I don’t take anything too seriously. I’ve learned life is too short to sweat the little things, because there’s a bigger thing LURKING around the corner that is steam rolling down the hill, around the corner, waiting to plow you. Those are the things that are serious. So, I love talking to people, because people are fascinating. And serious people have the information you don’t even know you need yet. Spending time – intimate, personal time – with those who share a bit of themselves is amazing. We’re here, today. Right now. Together. In this moment. Putting things off is a mistake. The tomorrow you thought you had yesterday is the today you never got to see. If not now, when?
