A: Well gay men have a fantastic niche that they should respect, admire and support. The niche is that as we get older we are still very attracted to other men our age. To me ... there is nothing more attractive than a good looking man in his 50's and 60's.
Also ... Younger gay men are demonstrating respect for gay men as we age with this "daddy craze" that is sweeping through the gay community. With some younger men it can be a little "put on". However, I have been surprised and caught off guard by the commitment and level of sincerity of some of these guys. I have this one buddy that is 27 years old. Very nice guy, beautiful man and he plays hard which I like. I was thinking about him one day and it occurred to me ... this kid has been really nice, considerate and respectful to me for the passed year that I've known him. Soon after that I called him up and told him how much I appreciated him. He was very touched by that.
A: I haven't done a lot of traveling but I intend to start. I want to be very strategic and pick the cities where I will get the best response and ad the most regulars.
A: I am a home body. Always have been. Having my home well decorated and comfortable is important to me. I don't spend a lot of money on it but pretty much everything is part of the plan.
A: I don't have any issues or hang ups with people's appearance, age, race, weight etc.
In San Francisco when I was in my 20's I saw an ad in the back of a neighborhood newspaper for a workshop Body Electric School. I didn't know anything about Body Electric but the ad used phrases like male touch and intimacy, the body erotic, nudity, erotic touch, conscious eroticism etc. My horny 26 year old self signed up and attended the workshop. There were men there from all races, all body types, and all ages. The age range went from like 20 to 83. For 2 hours we practiced touching each other, holding each other, genital to genital contact, handling someone else genitals. The experience broke down all barriers and allowed me to see people as people and not to focus on the differences.
A: I am a good friend. Being a good friend is a skill set. It's not automatic. You have to develop it and work at it. It's not just hanging out with someone and sharing good times. It's more about getting to know someone ... all sides of them. What are their triumphs, what are their challenges what keeps them awake at night.
Then from there you find a way to be a positive force in there life. A kind word, a compliment, a laugh or a joke it all matters.
Now having said that ... I do not support bad behavior. If I see you going down a wrong path, acting shitty toward someone or losing focus on your goals or your future ... I will call your ass out quick. Because if you catch me trippin I expect you to do the same for me. I don't assume that people are always aware of what they actually doing at all times.
I have lost some friends because of this too. Some of these guys just weren't strong enough to check their own bullshit.
A: I'm a good person. I am respectful and I demand respect. I am kind just because. I'm that guy that will stop and let some one make their turn. I stop to allow people to cross the street and I don't start to drive until they are safely on the other side. If traffic is merging into less lanes ... I'm the guy that slows down and someone get in front of me when everyone else is pulling in close to the car ahead of them to prevent others from getting in. I am a mash up of all of my life experiences. Life is Good.
