Tell us about the best experience you have had in life.
BryanGrove:
Ill tell you most amazing and enlightening encounter Ive had with a stranger. On Fire Island there is a section of the island named The Sunken Forest. Some friends and I were wandering the woods during the day when we came across a large tree that had all of its roots exposed by erosion. There was a man in his 80's sitting on one of the exposed roots. We exchanges pleasentries and I asked if he was staying out there. He told us that him and his husband had a house in the pines for about 20 years but he had sold it when his husband passed 10 years prior. He also said that this tree was him and his husbands favorite spot and that he visited it every summer because this tree reminded him that no matter what happens to you; you have to keep holding on to life. Ive never been so moved by the words of a stranger. I will never forget what he taught me that day

What are 5 things you can’t live without?
BryanGrove:
In no particular order: 1) Music: sometimes the entirety of my day as my own personal soundtrack. It is how I find inspiration, how I elevate my mood, how I connect with the world. 2) The Beach: I was fortunate to have parents who owned a beach house growing up. I spend most summer days swimming in salt water and gazing a boys in tight swimwear. 3) A proper kitchen: I love to cook and I need a space to do it in as well as the proper tools to engage in the alchemy of the kitchen. It doesn't have to be fancy nor do I need a plethora of intricate items. I just need the basics. 4) A man: the love of good man is, in my opinion, what made my priorities clear and I would be lost without him. 5) My family: they have always been my rock.

What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in your spare time?
BryanGrove:
I spend a good portion of the say looking for new music. I love going down a rabbit-hole of play-next suggestions of Spotify or even YouTube. When I discover something I enjoy that I've never heard before I will always explore that musicians songbook. Gold banner days are when I discover a new artist that has 5 to 6 albums. You'll never see me happier.

What distinguishes you from all the other people you know?
BryanGrove:
Hands down it is my sense of humor. I have always had the ability to make a group of people laugh. I can find humor in almost anything. Spend time with me and I'll make you laugh and then I'll make you moan.
